About Madison
It’s my aim to make you, the student, to be able to teach your own lesson of the subject matter learned. I am well-versed in both world and American-specific history, dating from ancient to modern times. I am also knowledgeable in other fields of social studies such as politics or geography. I am a student at Colorado State University with a 4.0 GPA, so I am able to use my own success and apply it to others to help them too. Additionally, as part of my social studies teaching education, I am well-versed in education techniques.

My goal is to help students who may not be confident their historical skills or even uninterested in history entirely to feel passionate about the subject! As a former history hater, I understand firsthand how tough it can be to understand niche, outdated events and figures, which is why I aim to make history interesting through activities like focusing on personal narratives, primary sources, and relating the old to the new, because many times even histories dating back tens of thousands of years have relevance today!
