1. Create a lesson plan which tends to the student's needs (proofreading, help with ideas, etc)
2. Redlining a student's essay
3. Go over the redlining with the student in order to help the student understand why I am editing the words/phrases/paragraphs.
4. Ask the student if they have any questions or concerns.
