About Malika
I am an avid reader and art enthusiast! I enjoy all things about humanites and art subjects both inside out outside of school and hope to spread this to those I tutor as I believe when you enjoy your subject you thrive in it. Being a current A-level student means I know how challenging maintaining interest in your studies can be difficult which is why I always strive to make my lessons fun for my students as I understand that the more engaged you are in a lesson the more you take away and so the better your grade improves.

I have a flexible method when tutoring as I acknowledge all students have different natural abilities and so I will analyse the results from an initial exam to determine where they need more help in an effort to make all sessions as efficient as possible.
As an A-level student I understand the importance on allowing students to be active and involved in their own learning and so will always base my tutoring on my students needs specifically as opposed to simply reteaching the syllabus. I sincerely believe tutoring is more than just about teaching and subsequently, I will endeavor to provide each of my students with the support and confidence they need to reach those top grades!
Typically my sessions run from 45-60 minutes to ensure I can teach and review subjects effectively.
I have recently completed my GCSE's meaning I am comfortable with the new 9-1 grading system, I have also tutored peers and family friends for GCSE's meaning I have experience tutoring many different levels of ability.
I tutor students in Religous Studies (up to GCSE level), Science, maths, English literature and English language (up to year 9 level).
