About Isabella
My name is Isabella, I'm from South East London and am currently studying Biology, History and Media at A-levels. I achieved mostly all 9s in my GCSE subjects and am Predicted A*,A*,A In my A-levels. I am a highly motivated student aiming to study biology further at a Russell Group university. Having lived in South East London, I have seen firsthand seen the importance of what education and what education can provide you. It opens doors, and transforms lives and ultimately creates a new sense of self. Which inspired me to begin my tutoring journey which started a year ago when I began tutoring my relative. Over the journey of a 3 months I boosted her grades 4 sub-levels higher, exceeding her target grade hugely and am now awaiting this August to see her final grade. This is what I aim to reproduce with every student. I aim to push them to exceed their target grades and to aim for 9s every single time as every student is capable of success, and my highly personalised teaching methodology will allow my students to flourish and exceed their goals and expectations.

As a tutor, I understand that everyone learns in a specific and unique way. So, I tailor my teaching to fit your unique style whether that's auditory learning, visual learning, or physical learning. With my in-depth understanding of specific methods of learning and the entire GCSE Science specification, in which all my lessons will be tailored around. It means I am confident in guaranteeing success in each subtopic of ways of learning and the content I'm teaching. To further my confidence I have had previous experience in tutoring my younger relatives for 1 year before her GCSEs which took place just recently from which I boosted their grades from consistent 4s to 8/9 in just a couple of months. My aim is to ensure not just memorisation but long-term retention and in-depth understanding of GCSE Science/ KS3 Science for those aged 11-16. Having completed my GCSEs in 2023, I offer a more recent experience of having undergone exams post-Covid and understand firsthand how that impacts exams in comparison to other tutors which I believe is essential in developing a mutual trusted relationship between the tutor and student. Typically, my lesson length will vary from 30 minute to 1 hour lessons on weekdays and weekends and I'm highly flexible when it comes to cancellations.
