About Emily

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic undergraduate psychology student with a strong academic background, including an A-Level in Psychology. I am passionate about the subject and aspire to further my studies by completing a Master’s and PhD, with the goal of becoming a developmental neuroscientist. I bring over five years of teaching experience across a variety of environments, which has helped me develop a flexible and supportive teaching style. Alongside this, I have extensive informal tutoring experience, having supported my peers throughout both GCSE and A-Level studies. This has given me valuable insight into common challenges students face and how to explain complex ideas in a clear, relatable way. My approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening understanding of key psychological concepts, and helping students improve their exam technique. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their full potential.

About the lesson

My online psychology lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming to improve your grades, I focus on building a strong understanding of the core concepts while making sessions engaging and easy to follow. Lessons cover both the basics of psychological content and effective exam techniques, including how to structure answers, apply key theories, and meet assessment criteria.
I also provide guidance on revision strategies and ways to boost confidence in tackling different question types. After each session, students receive helpful resources such as summary notes, practice questions, and targeted feedback to support their ongoing progress. My aim is not only to improve grades but to help students develop a clear and lasting understanding of psychology.
