About Hannah
Hi! I am really passionate about giving all students a chance to learn in the best way possible. I really enjoying tailoring each lesson to suit a student's learning style, but also the content to be engaging and on a topic that they love. Teaching for me allows me to support others whilst teaching topics that I love. The moment when a student finally breaks through a tricky problem is a great feeling and makes the planning and lessons feel like I'm making a difference.

My lessons use a hands on approach allowing students to use the theory's taught themselves. Lessons will be one hour long and follow the rough structure:
5-10 mins recap from the previous lesson
10-15 mins explanation and examples shown by myself
20 mins student working independently with guidance from me
5-10 mins recap of the lesson and set a small task for during the week.
I tutor a variety of ages but mainly primary school and lower years of secondary school. I am also available for lessons where english may be a second language.
I have experience of tutoring within a school, but also tutored for over a year online during the pandemic. I took english literature at A-level and now study an essay based subject at university.
