About Sherry
Hi! I’m Sherry. I’ve been tutoring kids since high school, especially younger students from K–6. As someone who came from China and experienced being tutored myself, I understand what it takes to keep kids engaged and make learning effective. I focus on fun, patience, and clarity—so every child feels supported. I scored a 1510 on the SAT and 110 on the TOEFL, and I bring that same dedication to helping my students succeed.

I keep learning fun and relatable by using short, engaging stories that help kids connect with the material. I make sure lessons are enjoyable and easy to follow. I’m also super patient; every child learns at their own pace, and I’m here to support them every step of the way.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
- Warm-up (5 mins): Quick game or story to get focused.
- Lesson Time (20–25 mins): Learning through fun examples and interaction.
- Practice (10–15 mins): Hands-on activities or review.
- Wrap-up (5 mins): Recap and positive feedback.
