About Shawn
I am going to deliver excellence in the ordinary for every tutoring session. When you come into a tutoring session with me, I don't care how long it will take. My goal is not a certain amount of time but rather fostering meaningful learning. Each and every one of us has the gift to learn. I want to make sure we are all effectively using this gift to the best of our abilities. I will deliver information in new and insightful ways that most resonates with you and your learning style. I am a learner myself in the process as well, feel free to correct me or ask me to explain things in different ways if needed. We are all here to learn and grow together.

You should come to a tutoring session with me, so that you can be well prepared for your upcoming exams as well as learning how to effectively learn. I will use an engagement method of teaching where I ask you questions throughout the teaching process to make sure we are on the same page and that you can actively recall the material. I will push you guys to be the best versions of yourself by doing so. A typical lesson plan will include a review session from the day before, a new brief lesson depending on what you need to learn about, and then a Quizziz or Kahoot at the end of the session as well as another chance to ask any final questions you may have. As a tutor, I am willing to go the extra mile. If you ever need extra help, I will be there for you every step of the way. I will take the initiative to make sure everyone understands the material in a meaningful way. My lessons for psychology mostly will be for those who are taking the AP course in high school or taking the introduction to Psychology course in college. As far as marketing goes, I will be teaching lessons to those who are mostly interested in the sales aspect of marketing as well as persuasion/influence. Any one is welcome.
