About Ella
I recently completed my Psychology A-level and am currently in my third year of studying Psychology at the University of Nottingham. My genuine passion for the subject is evidenced through the career path I plan to take after graduation, with the aim of working with students to support their mental health and wellbeing.
I am experienced in working with younger people having taught at my local dance school for four years and assisted PE lessons during my A-Levels. These opportunities have allowed me to develop my teaching skills to create a calm, friendly and supportive learning environment where individuals feel comfortable when learning and asking for further support.

My approach to tutoring is student centred, offering personalised support and advice to areas of study students struggle with. My main goal when tutoring is to build on subject knowledge to help develop confidence and preparation for future exams. I aim to do this through encouraging students to identify areas they feel they would like support and working with them to develop understanding of topics as well as developing exam technique to support exam preparation.
