About Oskar
I have studied History all throughout school up to now, where I'm an honours student specialising in Modern History. I have achieved A grades at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher levels, and have been averaging a 1st class honours grade across my two years at university thus far.
Not only is it a subject and field that I'm deeply passionate about, but the process of teaching and transplanting that same knowledge and passion onwards is something I find truly engaging and compelling in itself.

My approach to private tutoring is one that places a special focus on exam practice, working to develop crucial qualities such as conciseness and relevancy to the question in students' answers, in tandem with enhancing exam technique such as time management. In the subject of History especially, it is the consistent practice of these qualities that present the greatest value to examiners, alongside knowledge of course content.
The orientation of my focus towards this will provide students with a far more confident grasp of the demands of the examination, yielding more satisfying results and making that dreaded run-in to exam day much less daunting!
