About Alice

I’m not afraid to admit that I found both GCSEs and A levels very stressful! I found that I lacked confidence in exam technique and didn’t know how to learn and remember all of that content! Looking back, I realise that it was the support and help of my teachers and tutors that were able to provide 1 to 1 help that really boosted my grades and helped me to enjoy my subjects! By the time I sat my exams (both GCSE and A levels) I can honestly say that I loved my subjects with all my heart. Now that I have completed all of these exams and am studying for my degree in veterinary medicine, I want to help other young people find their feet with their exams and take away some of the stress by helping them to feel as prepared as is humanly possible when they walk into that exam hall! Outside of tutoring and studying for my degree, I enjoy singing and playing piano and guitar, as well as spending time with my growing collection of pets that currently includes a whippet and a tortoise!

About the lesson

Hello! I am a current veterinary student who wants to help you increase your confidence with exam technique and knowledge in both GCSE and A level exams to ensure that you can reach your full potential! I am offering private, online tutoring sessions that are completely tailorable to your exam needs. I am a big believer that each student and subject works best with a different revision method and I am determined to help you find (and use) the most effective methods for you so that you can reach for the highest grades possible! Whilst grades are obviously important, I also want to teach you to enjoy your subjects and find ways to revise them that you find both interesting and sustainable. A few examples of techniques that I will use to help you are - past paper practice (the most effective in my opinion!), flashcards, mindmaps and general content learning. I am confident that I can help you to increase your grades and help you through your GCSE or A level exams!
