About Sophie
I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, starting from third grade they teach basic conversational French. So I've been exposed to the language since I was in elementary school. I moved to the Los Angeles area in 2016 going into 8th grade, starting French lessons again once I was in high school in order to further my knowledge of the language. From there I took four years of French, and one semester in college in order to keep practicing and keep up with my French.

French tutoring for middle to high school.
A typical lesson would be to focus first on any homework needing to be completed, as well as reviewing any quizzes or tests for mindful correction of difficulties. As well as practice with listening, reading, translation and writing. Typically ending on a vocab review.
My main concern is always to be able to connect with the student, I want them to have fun learning this beautiful language and create lastly positive associations with French. Learning a language is a lot easier if it's fun!
