I believe it is very important to get the students input regarding what they would like to focus on in terms on the syllabus etc. It is true that everyone learns in a different way and at a different pace which is why I would work alongside the student. I make and provide clear, concise notes and lessons to cover the main aspects of the subject. I think it is very important to engage in the language outside of the curriculum and always like to add a interactive piece on speaking or learning about the language in each lesson. I am always open to hearing suggestions from students too and incorporate them to my teaching methods! I a very well versed in the Irish syllabus from both Junior and Senior learning cycle and have thought at both levels. I have also helped Hibernia students prepare for written and oral exams at third level. I am willing to teach any level or learner Gaeilge and enjoy doing so! My lessons range between 40 - 60 minutes depending on level.
