About Oratilwe
I am interested in teaching because I too, have been in the position where I struggled in school. I was not great at math until a math teacher took me under their wing and started giving me private lessons. That changed my outlook on many factors in life and encouraged me to work hard. It helped me realize that with a little bit of help from the right person, learning what seems like a difficult subject can be a fun experience and something one looks forward to doing. I am interested in tutoring because it would be an honor to change your outlook on learning.

My teaching methods include creating a safe environment where every student feels safe to speak up and ask questions. I aim to create a patient space that includes 5 minutes of mindfulness meditation at the beginning to set the tone for a successful tutoring session. You speak, I listen, you ask, I answer, I teach, repeat, you understand. My class also makes use of scientific study methods that you can take outside of our tutoring sessions that will help advance you in the institution you’re learning at or create muscle memory for everyday life.

Oratilwe is a trustworthy tutor as she helped my English marks and as a result saw exponential growth in this subject. She has a way of getting the work to be easier to understand, making her a trustworthy tutor .
Oratilwe tutored me when I was in grade 11. My marks were really bad then, but all through grade 11 to 12 they slowly started improving! I received a distinction in my final English exam, which I couldn’t believe. She was really patient with me.
