About Ellie
I’m Elle, I’m 18 and I live in Scotland. I’ve spent the past year dedicating my time to international and domestic students; building their confidence, building amazing relationships and of course, building on their english language and literature.
In September I hope to go onto further study english at University with my end goal being to teach indefinitely. My highest qualification (as I’m writing this) is Advanced Higher English [equivalent to first year university].

All teaching should begin with the student, therefore I can’t give a straight up answer as to how I would approach lessons however, I believe it’s important to keep children engaged & interested so using their wants and hobbies as a way to create lessons is my main priority.
If the student doesn’t enjoy learning about History (for example) whilst in school then I believe there is no need to teach them about English in a historical context.
