About Calvin
I enjoy teaching subjects that people consider difficult to score in because of their reputation as “subjective”. I especially enjoy instructing English and Film, which require creativity and nuance. As a former IB student, I want to provide solutions and support where other sources don’t. The IB is difficult and by sharing tips and tricks for success, I can help people with making the best of their IB journey.

I first make sure my client understands what they are studying before moving on. I believe that communication-based and interactive learning is better for grasping abstract, subjective courses (e.g. Eng Lit). To improve this, I keep my classes to 1 hour 15 minutes, with additional 15-minute blocks to increase productivity and learning efficiency.
