About Marina

Hello! I'm marina who's based in Japan.
As a person who learnt English through what I loved -Broadway musicals, American and British TV shows, Disney- I know that your own passion/interest will be the biggest supporter in order to achieve your goals. So I wholeheartedly recommend you to choose (some of) your own teaching materials too- for example, Japanese songs, books, TikTok videos etc. But of course, I could choose them too if you'd prefer that way.

Online Japanese lessons (teacher's base: Japan)
Level: Beginner to intermediate Rate: £20/1hr (typically 1hr-1.5hrs) Location: Online
Speciality: Pronunciation, conversation, cultural insight Teaching materials: anything students choose to bring, or I suggest
Homework: depends on each student’s wish

Deadly! Marina always has a lesson plan ready and sets homework to recap what has been learned in the lesson, briefly going over aspects of last weeks lesson also helps.
Marina regularly checks that i understand the lesson she is approachable, friendly and a patient teacher.
