About Banashree
I am a Commonwealth scholar from India reading for a Masters in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management at Oxford. I have previously completed my Bachelors and Masters in Botany from University of Delhi, India along with a PG Diploma in Environmental Law and Policy. The diversity in my academic degrees comes from my innate curiosity for knowledge and my fascination on biological systems. With this tutoring opportunity, I hope to instill the same sense of fascination in my students by making complex biological and ecological concepts simplified and interesting.
Besides, I am also keen on helping A level students keen on cracking the Oxbridge applications as well as the scholarship apps based on my experience and learned skills.

Biology came naturally to me, the mechanisms of cellular and molecular biology did not. So trust me when I tell you that you’ll be fine. Since I mostly struggled to grasp complex mechanisms at first glance, I was fortunate to have my good friend who would sit down with me after classes, go over class notes and break down the concepts to me with the funniest anecdotes and references. And that, my friends, works every time!
So you can trust me to bring the fun in the class, to use the most relatable tools and presentation/animation skills to explain complex question, and basically ensure that the lessons are vivid enough in your brains to replicate in your exams.
