About Diandian
I am a student myself just like you are going to be, so I wouldn't consider myself an authority in teaching Mandarin. I love being a tutor because I find the process fascinating.
I worked as a private tutor for a family for one year, who has two girls. As their parents were fully occupied with work, I was in charge of the girls' after school hours. It was such an exciting experience, I have seen how we made progress together.
As learning a new language is your challenge, mine is to adjust teaching methods promptly to fit your learning pace.

1. We will set up a studying goal together. (e.g., I hope you will have a good command of the Chinese phonetic system after 10 lessons.)
2. I will be more like your study partner than a teacher, study can be boring and stressful sometimes, we should make it a fun activity.
3. The length of a lesson will be 1 hour. (Or on your demand)
4. I welcome all ages of students, as long as you like learning a new language.
