About Poppy

I am 19 and currently a student at Lancaster University studying English literature and creative writing. I enjoy writing creatively and have done several spoken word events. I hope to encourage students to move out I’ve their comfort zone and to remind them of the fun that can be had in this subject area

About the lesson

I know how hard it can be doing this subject in school. I have struggled with dyslexia my whole life and I believe my approach to be both effective and encouraging for students. I tend to focus on the specific child’s needs when planning a session and this has definitely shown up in their work as a positive influence
