About 奏太

I am a native Japanese speaker currently studying in the United States. Through my experience living and studying abroad, I have developed a strong interest in communication across languages and cultures.

I have worked closely with international students in academic and multicultural environments, which has helped me understand how language learning connects to confidence, daily life, and cultural understanding. I believe learning a language is not only about memorizing rules, but also about understanding how people actually communicate in real situations.

As a tutor, I value clarity, patience, and structure. I enjoy explaining things in a logical and approachable way, especially when students feel unsure or overwhelmed. Having studied in a second language myself, I understand the challenges learners face and aim to create a comfortable, supportive learning environment.

I look forward to supporting students who want to learn Japanese in a practical and meaningful way, whether for conversation, study, or personal interest.

About the lesson

My Japanese lessons focus on clear communication, practical usage, and building confidence step by step.

I am a native Japanese speaker currently studying in the U.S., and I have experience working with international students in academic and multicultural environments. Through this experience, I understand the common challenges learners face when studying Japanese, especially differences in sentence structure, levels of politeness, and natural expressions that are not always explained well in textbooks.

In my lessons, I focus on:
• Speaking and listening skills for real-life situations
• Grammar explained logically and clearly
• Natural expressions and cultural context
• Adjusting lessons to the student’s goals and learning style

I can help with:
• Beginner to intermediate Japanese
• Conversation practice
• Grammar and sentence structure
• Pronunciation and natural phrasing
• Academic or daily-life Japanese for students planning to study in Japan

Lessons are interactive and flexible. I encourage students to ask questions freely and make sure they understand not only what to say, but why it is said that way. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can practice without feeling pressured or judged.

I am especially comfortable working with students who are learning Japanese as a second language and need explanations in clear, simple English. All lessons are conducted online and tailored to each student’s pace and objectives.
