I am a 1st year college student.
In Grade 12, during finals, I would tutor my friends in history and the day we received our results they phoned to tell me what their results were, they all achieved either an A or B in history.

My approach starts by asking my students what in history they are learning or what they want to know and what they are struggling to remember. From there I try and teach in a way that is best for my students.
For example, if a student learns better by direct instruction or group discussions and activities, I will use a method that is most comfortable for them.
