About Kulsoom
Hello! My name is Kulsoom, and I’m currently studying at City University of London. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience through various internships, particularly in communications, where I worked as a communication manager. These roles have helped me develop strong proficiency in English, both in speaking and writing, as well as the ability to interact with diverse people. Through my experiences, I’ve noticed that even those who are already proficient in English often struggle with essential skills like essay writing, speaking clearly, and expressing ideas effectively. I believe these skills are crucial not only for academic success but also for everyday tasks such as job applications, university coursework, and CV writing. I’ve had the opportunity to help students, including family and friends, improve their personal statements for university, and this has inspired me to share my skills with others. I’m passionate about helping my future students improve their English abilities in a way that is both practical and effective, and I look forward to guiding them to success

In my English lessons, I aim to foster a dynamic and inclusive environment where students engage deeply with literature and develop strong communication skills. I design lessons that balance reading, writing, and critical analysis, using a variety of activities—such as group discussions, multimedia, and creative projects—to keep students engaged and accommodate diverse learning styles.
I focus on differentiation, offering tailored support to ensure all students can succeed at their own level.
