About Cassidy
I'm a Creative Writing student who lives in Perth, Australia. I've been speaking and writing English my entire life, and am fluent.
I achieved high results in ATAR English during my high school career, with all my Year 11 and 12 results. ranging between 80% and 100%.
I have written award-winning plays, wrote a full novel when I was 14, and am comfortable writing in several different styles, such as essays, reports, prose, poems and legislation.

I am a compassionate, friendly and versatile person, and would adapt my lessons and teaching style accordingly to my individual students and what they want to achieve. For example, I could be a hands off teacher who helps students develop their critical thinking and learning skills so they can more sufficiently think through content themselves, or I could guide my student through everything they are learning and explain exactly what they need to know and remember.
A basic lesson structure would most likely start with a brief English exercise, such as a short conversation or writing exercise using previous learned concepts.
Then I would take my student through a review of what we learned the previous lesson, to check that they have retained the information. After this, I would teach the new content that we are going through that day, before ending the lesson with a short recap of what they had just learned.
