About Tyla-Marie
As a young dance teacher I've always taught with the mindset of 'Make it fun, challenging, exciting and educational'. As fun as dancing is I also enjoy explaining a dance or moves so students not only know what to do but why. I feel that if you're going to learn anything its always best to learn the background of what your learning too.
When it comes to choreographing I love adapting to my students levels of skills, confidence and interest. I make it my goal to have a student finish a lesson feeling accomplished, more knowledgeable , and excited for the next. I always love to challenge students with new skills, tips and tricks that they can take whether its dance moves, knowledge or self worth.

- My teaching technique would be described as very thorough, paced differently depending on the student. I also love making things funny, engaging and character building.
- Typical length of a lesson can range from 30minutes to 90minutes.
- I volunteered for 8 years at a couple Primary Schools teaching Hip-Hop to kids in primary to intermediate school.
- I also lead and taught all through high-school for college dance competitions.
- Lessons are for all youth aged as young as 5 up to late teens.
- I gained excellence endorsements NCEAL Levels 1/2/3 for Dance and Music.
