Jose has been my Spanish tutor for about six months and in that time my level went from beginner to being able to hold daily conversations in professional context and personal with native speakers. I would describe Jose’s lessons as ‘hard fun’. On one hand his sessions are hard because he challenges you all the way through. On the other hand, Jose’s lessons are fun to the effect that you always finish them thinking, “wow, how time flies!”.

I have known Jose Bravo-Lopez for thirteen years. We met as colleagues at Kidlington secondary school in Oxfordshire. We worked closely with the same groups as Jose Bravo-Lopez was in that time a Teaching Assistant in my classes. He had a very patient and soft manner to deal with students' needs and worked hard to find a way to provide the right support for every child. We had regular meetings to discuss the students that mainly needed support and the general dynamic of the classroom and I was always impressed by Mr Bravo-Lopez´insights on how teaching and learning could be improved to help the different levels of ability that we had in the classroom.

I worked at Kidlington´s school for four years and after I left, Mr Bravo-Lopez and I have continued in contact due to common interests and colleagues. Mr Bravo-Lopez later became a qualified teacher and we have continued sharing experiences and exchanging ideas, resources and materials. In time, I got to know his close family and became part of his group of friends.

I can testify that I know Mr Bravo-Lopez at a personal and professional level and that he is trustworthy and perfectly suitable to work with vulnerable children and young adults.
