About Lia

Hello, my name is Mrs. Lia and I am from Selangor. I am passionate about teaching and sharing my knowledge with the younger generation to help them achieve their future goals.

I have extensive experience as a preschool teacher, and even though I am now a housewife, I am eager to continue using my skills and expertise to help students who need my help with their learning process.

I specialize in teaching Chinese Mandarin and English, and I also have a love for music and singing. My teaching style is student-centered and focused on making learning fun, interactive and engaging.

I believe that education is key to unlocking a better future for oneself, and as a teacher, I am committed to helping my students reach their full potential. I am patient, supportive, and dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment for all my students.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each individual student. As an online tutor, I use a variety of digital tools and resources to create engaging and interactive lessons that promote active learning.

For Reading, Writing, and Speaking classes, I begin by assessing the student's current level of proficiency in each skill area. This helps me to identify areas of strength and weakness, and to develop a customized lesson plan that targets specific areas for improvement.

In each lesson, I provide notes and exercises that are designed to improve the student's grammar, vocabulary, and overall language proficiency. These exercises may include reading comprehension activities, writing prompts, and speaking exercises that encourage the student to practice their language skills in a supportive and safe environment.

To enhance the student's learning experience, I also incorporate multimedia resources such as videos, podcasts, and interactive quizzes into my lessons. This not only makes the lessons more engaging, but also helps the student to develop a more well-rounded understanding of the language.

I am available to take over classes on weekdays and weekends, depending on the student's availability. Additionally, I am fluent in multiple languages, including Malay, English, Chinese (Mandarin), and Tamil, which allows me to provide a more comprehensive and culturally sensitive learning experience for my students.
