About Delo
Teaching guitar has always been my passion, as it allows me to inspire creativity and musical growth in students. Holding Bachelor’s degrees in Music, I combine formal training, performance experience, and teaching expertise in every lesson. I begin with foundational skills such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, rhythm, strumming, and tone, gradually introducing improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is taught practically, linking concepts directly to songs and exercises. Each lesson is customised to the student’s pace, goals, and musical style, creating a motivating and supportive environment. I emphasise technical skill, expressive playing, and performance confidence. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises are integral to my teaching. Students explore multiple genres, including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, broadening their musical knowledge. Structured practice routines, feedback, and guidance help learners overcome challenges effectively. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce progress and motivate students. I encourage improvisation, composition, and personal expression to develop a unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, technical mastery, and creativity for effective learning. Over time, students gain proficiency, confidence, and expressive artistry. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, guidance, and inspiration. My ultimate goal is to help students play creatively, authentically, and confidently. Every lesson is an opportunity to cultivate skill, artistry, and a lifelong love for music.

From my first chord to my first student, guitar has been an inseparable part of my life. With both Bachelor’s degrees in Music, I’ve spent years mastering the craft and sharing it with others. I believe that great teaching begins with understanding each learner’s goals and personality. My lessons are built around patience, clarity, and creativity. I teach step-by-step, focusing first on solid foundations before expanding into advanced techniques. I incorporate music theory naturally so it feels relevant, not intimidating. My sessions are interactive, featuring hands-on practice and real song examples. I also include improvisation and performance coaching to help students build confidence. I encourage questions, experimentation, and self-expression in every class. Over time, students learn to find their voice through the guitar. My greatest fulfilment comes from seeing that spark of confidence when a student realises how much they’ve grown. Every success, big or small, matters—and I’m here to celebrate each one.
