About Joyce Arabela
I am a Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a strong passion for helping students achieve academic success. Throughout college, I consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning Dean's Lister recognition during my first and second years and President's Lister honors during my junior and senior years.
Beyond academics, I developed my leadership skills by serving as President and Deputy Secretary General of our BEEd organization for two consecutive academic years. These roles strengthened my communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, which I bring into every tutoring session.
During both my Field Study and Teaching Internship, I earned a 1.0 (100%) rating, reflecting my dedication, professionalism, and ability to create effective learning experiences. I am committed to providing patient, engaging, and personalized instruction that helps students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and reach their full potential.

My approach as a tutor is student-centered, patient, and interactive. I believe that every learner has a unique pace and learning style, so I tailor each lesson to meet the student's individual needs. Instead of simply providing answers, I guide students in understanding concepts through clear explanations, real-life examples, and engaging activities that encourage critical thinking and independent learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by an assessment of the student's current understanding. I then introduce the new lesson using simple, easy-to-follow explanations and provide guided practice before allowing the student to work independently. Each session ends with a short recap, constructive feedback, and practice exercises to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart is my strong foundation in education as a Cum Laude Bachelor of Elementary Education graduate. My training has equipped me with effective teaching strategies, classroom management skills, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learners. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing with confidence.
My lessons are ideal for preschool and elementary learners, particularly those who need support in English, Mathematics, Science, Filipino, and other general elementary subjects.
