About Olamilekan

I am a professional English tutor with a degree in English from Obafemi Awolowo University and several years of experience teaching secondary school students. In addition to classroom teaching, I bring a strong background in Learning and Development, which gives me a unique advantage in helping students learn more effectively.

My approach goes beyond teaching content. I apply principles of instructional design, learning science, and learner psychology to ensure each lesson is clear, engaging, and impactful. I understand how to adapt to different learning styles, build knowledge progressively, and create an environment where learners feel confident and motivated.

With me, students don’t just memorise, they truly understand. I am committed to helping learners improve their English skills while also building critical thinking, communication, and academic confidence.

About the lesson

My English lessons are carefully structured using proven teaching strategies drawn from both classroom experience and Learning & Development expertise. I combine subject mastery with learner-focused methods to ensure that each student grasps concepts deeply and retains them long-term.

Lessons are tailored to individual needs, with clear learning objectives, engaging activities, regular feedback, and progressive skill development. I use scaffolding techniques to build confidence, chunk content for easier understanding, and apply active learning strategies to make grammar, comprehension, writing, and literature lessons more meaningful.

Each session lasts 60 minutes and is suitable for Junior and Senior Secondary School students, including those preparing for WAEC, NECO, and internal exams. Whether the learner is struggling or aiming for top grades, my goal is the same; to help them grow with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
