About Owen

I am an experienced French tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, specialising in High School and College students, and I have successfully trained around 150 to 200 students. My teaching philosophy is centred on engagement and understanding. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson, so I encourage them to ask questions, share ideas, and practise regularly.

I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while also improving communication skills through speaking exercises. I use simple explanations, real-life situations, and structured lessons to make learning effective. One of my key achievements is helping students who initially lacked confidence become fluent and comfortable in using French. I am dedicated to helping students achieve both academic success and long-term language skills.

About the lesson

My French teaching methodology focuses on creating a complete and balanced learning experience. I use real-life examples, conversations, and case studies to make lessons practical and meaningful, helping students understand how to use the language naturally in everyday situations. I follow a flexible teaching style, customising lessons based on each student’s level, pace, and learning goals.

I also maintain a compassionate and supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve.

Along with French, I also guide students in grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, listening skills, reading comprehension, and writing development. I also include cultural insights to enhance the overall learning experience.
