About Leticia Adora
I first realised I loved teaching young people and helping them achieve their best potential in my early teenage years when I became a youth leader. I have always reserved special attention for young people who are ambitious and want to develop their skills in whatever capacity. Being able to contribute to the achievements of goals of a young person like myself is fulfilling in every way. I always say, if I had to select another degree that wasn’t medicine it would most certainly be English. To me, language is a powerful construct, beautiful in its own way and I would love to help people analyse this with the expertise I have.

Focused on Individual Strengths: I start by understanding each student’s unique needs, whether it's reading comprehension, writing skills, or exam techniques. This helps me create lessons that target specific areas where improvement is needed. Active Reading Techniques: Teaching students the hallmarks of expert-like text annotation using exam techniques Exam Practice from Day One: I incorporate exam-style questions into every lesson so that you become familiar with the format and can apply your skills under timed conditions. We’ll break down past papers together to perfect your technique. Discussion-Based Learning: I encourage open discussions and debates on texts to help you form your own opinions and develop critical thinking skills, which are essential for both the exam and your general understanding of the material. Targeted Writing Support: I focus on improving your writing through structured guidance on essay planning, developing clear arguments, and refining your grammar. Together, we’ll work on building your voice and confidence on paper. Continuous Feedback and Improvement: After each lesson, I give you clear, actionable feedback. We’ll track your progress together, ensuring that you're always aware of your growth and areas for improvement. Real-Life Connections: I use examples from real life and my own experience as a medical student to show how English skills—such as critical reading and clear communication—are essential in everyday life, beyond the classroom.
