About Janet

Hi, I’m Janet, a friendly and dedicated swimming tutor who enjoys helping students become more comfortable and confident in the water. I believe learning to swim should be a positive experience, so I create a patient and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace.

Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to swimming, or looking to improve your technique, I take the time to understand your goals and work with you step by step. I focus on clear instruction, practical practice, and encouraging feedback so you can see your progress from lesson to lesson.

My goal is not only to help you improve your swimming skills, but also to help you feel more confident and comfortable in the water. I look forward to helping you make steady progress and enjoy your swimming journey.

About the lesson

My approach to swimming lessons is patient, practical, and focused on helping each student feel comfortable and confident in the water. I adjust my teaching style to match the student’s experience, learning pace, and goals rather than using the same approach for everyone.

A typical lesson begins with a quick warm-up and review of previous skills, followed by focused practice on technique, breathing, floating, kicking, strokes, or water confidence. I demonstrate each skill, break it down into simple steps, and then give the student time to practice while providing clear and encouraging feedback.

What sets me apart is my patience and personalized approach. I want students to understand what they are doing and why, while making each lesson positive and enjoyable. I work with beginners who are learning the basics as well as intermediate swimmers who want to improve their technique, confidence, and overall swimming ability.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, whether you are starting from scratch, returning to swimming, or looking to improve your existing skills.
