About Jinia
I value every student in my classroom, regardless of where they begin or how confident they feel with English. I believe effective teaching starts with attention, patience, and respect for each learner’s pace. To me, English is a powerful language of communication, while literature is the soul that gives it depth, meaning, and imagination. I aim to help students strengthen their language skills while also developing sensitivity, critical thinking, and a genuine engagement with texts. My classroom is structured, supportive, and demanding in the right ways, encouraging students to grow steadily and confidently.

I believe English is best learned through conversation, curiosity, and clear understanding rather than rote memorization. My classes focus on building strong foundations in grammar, reading, writing, and speaking, while also encouraging students to think critically about texts. Each session is structured but interactive, beginning with concept-building, followed by discussion, close reading, and practical exercises. I have experience tutoring primary and secondary school students as well as guiding learners through literature at higher levels. My aim is to make English approachable, enjoyable, and confidence-building for every student.
