About Nyla
About Me :
I am a Dental Undergraduate at the University of Bristol, I have been tutoring kids across a range of ages for over 5 years.
I attended one of the worst schools in the UK where 3 in 4 students fail GCSE Maths and English. Despite this I achieved an A in English and Maths and went on to study A-level Spanish, Biology and Chemistry whilst also undertaking an Extended Project Qualification concerning Dentistry.
As a result, I find it easy to adapt to a students learning style and personalise my teaching in a way that supports both their education and aspirations.

With the information provided above I will be able to formulate a student timetable which balances revision and interest in a way that is not too overwhelming.
In a typical lesson, I will give questions on the subtopic being learnt beforehand to test if the student has any prior knowledge, then I will go on to teach the content and then test them in the last segment. The homework for the lesson would be making an efficient resource such containing what they have learnt as well as exam questions.
The subtopic would be tested every few days with the variety of questions building up based on more subtopics being taught. This will allow the student to keep what they learnt in their long term memory rather than just short term. Every 5 lessons I will give an assessment and track their progress.
Based on the student and their learning ability the pace of lessons will vary.
Lessons are £15/hr
