About Amy
I am a creative expressionist with a lifetime of experience putting ideas into words. I believe that writing is the first step in making the intangible, tangible.
I am a student at Georgia Southern University, and I will graduate in December with my BA in English (my minor is Public Policy). I also have decades of work experience in retail management, high end hospitality, and as a paralegal assistant in a defense law firm. My passion is giving people the resources they need in order to bring their ideas into reality, first onto the page and then (potentially) beyond!

I believe in a holistic approach to maintaining a creative practice. My programs are not just for writers - anyone can benefit from learning about creativity! I start by considering the questions: What is Creativity, and Where does it live in the Brain? We will discuss various creative processes and the importance of "serious play", and we will consider concepts such as vulnerability and failure, inspiration, habits, motivation, and inhibition.
My lessons are appropriate for creatives in high school and beyond. Skill level is less important than the drive to practice and apply what you learn.
