About Ishan
I am a Certified Flight Instructor with airplane single-engine land and instrument instructor ratings (CFI/CFII), as well as a CPL in ASEL/AMEL. I began my aviation journey in 2022 flying around DFW in the Cessna Skyhawk and Piper Warrior.
I also hold a Psychology degree from the University of North Texas, which has helped me adapt my teaching to different learning styles. I have also worked in the emergency room as a medical scribe and on the ramp at DFW International Airport, which have developed my ability to communicate and prioritize safety above all else.
I bring that same professionalism and precision to every session. My goal is not just to help you pass a written exam, I want to make sure you understand the material deeply enough to apply it confidently as PIC.

My lessons are structured around lesson plans I've customized, covering everything from Private pilot fundamentals to Instrument training.
I teach by asking progressive questions to make sure concepts aren't just memorized, but you actually understand them. If something isn't clicking, I'll reframe it until it does, while also referencing the AFH or IFH.
Whether you're brand new to aviation, already flying, or have stalled in your training, my goal is to make sure you're confident, knowledgeable, and safe as pilot in command.
