About Ella
You will find our time together moves at a pace that respects your current ability level. Before we build a plan, I conduct a diagnostic level test to identify your strengths and specific gaps. We talk through complex scenarios to improve your accent and intonation naturally. It feels much like sitting in a Parisian cafe where mistakes are treated as necessary stepping stones rather than failures.
My background as a federal instructor means I prioritize authentic dialogue practice over dry textbook drills. You should expect to see your confidence grow as we navigate the nuances of French syntax. A warm environment is crucial when tackling difficult grammatical concepts or tricky pronunciation rules.

Sunlight streams through the office windows where I spent 9 years refining federal language training methods. Holding an MA in French and a CELTA from McGill University provides the solid foundation I use to assist diverse learners.
