About Tyrai

Hi! I’m a music producer, sound designer, and educator based in Montreal. I specialize in electronic and ambient music, with a deep focus on texture, synthesis, and creative audio workflows. I’ve worked in digital music production for over a decade and currently teach audio at Trebas Institute. I’m passionate about helping others unlock their creative potential — whether that means learning how to make your first beat, diving into modular synthesis, or just gaining confidence in your DAW. My approach is hands-on, encouraging, and grounded in real-world techniques used by professional producers. From cinematic soundscapes to club-ready tracks, I’ll guide you through the process of making the music you want to hear — step by step. IG: @chloro_plaste

About the lesson

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I offer personalized digital music production lessons tailored to your goals and musical style. I specialize in sound design and electronic music composition, but I teach across a wide range of genres and skill levels — from laying your first beat to crafting full tracks with expressive soundscapes.

You'll learn:

How to navigate your DAW (Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, etc.)

Beatmaking, sequencing, and arranging

Sound design using synthesizers and samplers

Audio editing and creative sampling

Basic mixing and mastering techniques

How to finish and export your own music projects

My teaching style is practical and flexible: I adapt each lesson to what you want to create. Together, we’ll work on real projects and build the technical confidence you need to bring your musical ideas to life. All you need is a laptop and a passion for music — no prior experience required.
