About Olivia
My teaching experience has shown me that students learn best when they enjoy the music they are creating. I like helping learners build strong foundations while also encouraging their creativity.
I have a Music Degree and 11 years of teaching experience with beginners and adult students. These years have helped me understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and personal guidance.
I enjoy celebrating every achievement, whether it's learning a new song or improving a difficult skill. Seeing students enjoy their progress is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching guitar.

My guitar lessons are designed to help you enjoy learning while developing skills that you can use in real songs. I keep classes simple and practical, so you can improve comfortably at your own pace.
We'll work on chords, strumming patterns, rhythm guitar, fingerstyle playing, picking techniques, lead guitar skills, improvisation, songwriting basics, and music theory. We can practise favourite songs, improve difficult parts, and explore different ways to make your playing more creative.
I'll provide clear practice steps, helpful feedback, and regular progress discussions after each lesson. As you continue learning, you'll build confidence and enjoy expressing yourself through the guitar.
