About Kimberly

I am a passionate French tutor with 19 years of experience supporting students at all stages of their learning journey, having taught approximately 150–200 learners. My approach focuses on personalised learning, allowing me to adapt lessons to each student’s goals, strengths, and challenges.

I emphasise communication and confidence, helping students use French naturally in practical situations. By combining structured teaching with interactive methods such as discussions and role-playing, I ensure that lessons are both effective and engaging.

I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. My goal is to help learners achieve fluency and a lasting appreciation for French.

About the lesson

My methodology for teaching French is designed around flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration, creating a learner-focused and supportive environment. I understand that each student has unique goals and challenges, so I customise my lessons to meet their specific needs, ensuring both progress and engagement.

Empathy and compassion are central to my teaching philosophy, as they help me build strong connections with my students and create a comfortable space for learning. I encourage open communication, allowing students to actively participate, share their thoughts, and practise speaking without hesitation.

Collaboration plays a key role in my lessons, as I incorporate interactive and practical activities such as role-plays, discussions, and real-life scenarios. These methods help students develop confidence and apply their knowledge effectively.

In addition to French, I integrate grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and cultural insights to provide a comprehensive learning experience. My goal is to help students become confident, independent learners who can use French fluently and naturally.
