About Josiah
I began learning piano at the age of 5 and have since then picked up several other instruments and completed various reputable music awards and exams. I am currently a school band teacher with over 8 years of private music teaching experience.
Although I love music, my greater passion is to pass along my love for music to other people. Whether it be a specific instrument or just the basics of music theory, I find joy in helping others, of all ages and music levels, realize their musical skills.

- My lessons are for all ages and music levels. Though I would prefer to help students just getting started or beginners get to the next level, I can definitely work with more experienced musicians to get even better
- When taking lessons with me, we will begin with basic foundation principles and building on them to eventually hone in on ear training and sight reading.
- I strongly recommend having a 30 minute class once a week and practicing 20-30 minutes per day. I am accessible for questions throughout the week via email and text.
