About Max
I can help with everything from getting started through advanced solo literature.
Professional trumpet player since 2000. I’ve taught a wide variety of students since 2002 — from beginners to masters in trumpet performance students and comeback players.

I base my teaching approach on modeling and illustrating what a student needs to play to improve. Every student has an individual approach and lessons are tailored specifically.
I coach on musicality and try to deep dive in solo literature — looking at motifs and patterns as well as investigate and give a music theory analysis where appropriate for the student.
