About Isbahna

I am currently a third year International PhD student at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham in the department of Management.
Before commencing my studies at the university, I have significant experience working as a Lecturer at different levels of educational institutions at my home country. After completing my Master’s degree in Management at the University of Birmingham in 2017,
I instantly entered into lecturing university students back at my home country in Bangladesh, before coming back to the UK in 2018 to pursue my PhD. I have experience in teaching organizational behaviour, human resource management, international business strategy, leadership and other management modules

About the lesson

My experience has helped me to build confidence in myself and my students, communicate better with the students and other members of staff in the organization. Being adaptable to different situations that also helped me in becoming a leader and a team player. Furthermore, all these experiences have helped me to nurture my imagination and the willingness to be a continuous learner.
I have gained further knowledge through professional development courses, such as core strategies for teaching in higher education, and other teaching tools for online classes using Virtual learning Environment (VLE), Pebblepad, Blackboard, Microsoft teams, making presentations in Apple Keynote, etc. I have attended many online learning courses related to blended and accessible learning for students in higher education.
