About Evie
I’ve been playing piano for 10 years, guitar for 3, and I’ve been singing my whole life (being born into a family of opera singers.) I know what it takes to get what you want and I’m always sure to maintain a level of professionalism with my students, as though we are there to have fun, we also have a job to do. That being said, even though some of my students walk in a little mopey, they always walk out smiling.

My name is Evie, I have a real passion for jazz, rock, pop, and all types of songwriting. My students have gotten exceptional grades from evaluations such as NYSSMA, and I always maintain a welcoming, low-stakes environment where it’s alright to make mistakes. I hope to inspire kids and teens to challenge themselves with a difficult but satisfying piece, write their own music, or just have a nice hobby; whatever is right for them, I will be sure that they flourish.
