About Phoebe
I am an avid music devotee and self-taught drummer. Through my own independent learning, I have a developed an understanding of the successes and pitfalls involved in cultivating a new skill, how these are necessary parts of the overall journey, and how difficulty helps us to learn more about ourselves and how we work. I have worked on a recording project as part of an originals two-piece group and played in various rock cover bands. Additionally, with a background in guitar, vocals and music theory, I can offer these skills as a tool for collaboration and deepening the student's insight into how the drums fit with other musical voices.

How can you find your unique playing style, reflective of your personality and influences? What sparks your interest, and how can you take what you want from the greats and transmute it into something that is authentic and your own?
My aim is to help you answer these questions. Throughout our lessons, we will explore fundamental aspects of drumming such as technique, versatility, timing, feel and musicality, creating a well-rounded base you can apply to your own musical projects and collaboration with other musicians.
I have taught drum kit lessons to all ages, and I am available to teach 30-60 minute lessons from beginner to advanced.
