About Emelia
I'm punctual, professional, and (hopefully) not boring as a tutor, as well as being very enthusiastic. I genuinely believe social studies (especially civic education) is one of the most important subjects in school, which is a major reason I'm passionate about teaching it.
I have experience as a tutor and I also have grades and scores that reflect an understanding of the material I'm teaching. I earned a 5 on my AP U.S. Government and Politics exam, received an academic award for my grade in world history, and received two awards for my performance in economics classes.

Hi! I'm a student planning to declare a major in public policy and I love teaching and talking about politics. I've also been a volunteer tutor for almost a year now, primarily online, and taught children aged 3-14 Tae Kwon Do for two years.
I have a casual approach to tutoring, because I consider my students my intellectual peers. I love answering questions and going with the flow of what a student needs, but I'm also totally down to use slides and go through a topic.
I can tutor anyone through twelfth grade and I love teaching. I'm always enthusiastic and try to come up with new, interesting ways to teach topics, like relating each of the articles of the Constitution to current issues or ranking social contract philosophers by how evil they thought people were.
