About Lorcan
Hi everyone, my name is Lorcan, and I’m a fully qualified secondary teacher specializing in Higher and Ordinary Level Irish and Geography. Having been educated entirely through Irish—from naíonra through secondary school at Coláiste Eoin—alongside my experience teaching at top schools like Muckross Park College, I bring native bilingual fluency and a deep, practical understanding of how to master state exam marking schemes. I became a teacher because I'm passionate about helping students demystify these subjects, build natural confidence—especially for the 40% Irish oral—and master the exact strategies needed to reach their target points. Whether we are tackling tricky geography concepts or structuring top-tier Irish essays, my goal is to make learning straightforward, engaging, and directly focused on your success.
