About Carrie
I'm Carrie, I'm 35 and I've lived in Nottingham since 2019 and been teaching and delivering sessions as a wraparound care provider for the last four years. I absolutely love it - I find that the more I teach, the more creative I feel! I consider the relationships between students and teachers to be the most rewarding when you're open to learning as much as you can, as well as providing instructions and I feel so privileged that I'm able to do that every day!

I graduated from Durham with a BA in French and German in 2012 and for the last four years I've been the manager of a Breakfast and Afterschool club in a primary school, also teaching music on a peripatetic basis. I'm very adept at finding the right balance between gaining skills and having fun at the same time - it's really the basis of my whole career! I am happy to teach up to A-level and pursue a personalised approach to your needs. No two lessons will be the same but I can promise they will be super fun!
