About Tori
I'm professional but fun. I've been a teacher for over 20 years. I have a son, two dogs and a cat. I have an English teaching degree and a counseling degree. This means that I can blend caring for the student AND teaching the content. If you are anxious, shy or reluctant to work with a tutor, I'm probably one of your best choices.

As a teacher, I'm friendly and helpful, but I get straight to the point. That means that we'll get our work done. I have experience with helping college students (especially with Psychology or English), with helping high school students (college essays are a specialty!) and middle school and elementary. I'm also helpful with ACT English and Reading.
Sometimes I'll model the best way of writing something. Other times I'll let you start and then I'll help proofread. The important part is that I meet the student where they're at.
